Springfield XDM .45

Post by Steve » Sat Sep 01, 2018 9:03 pm

Got an email alert from Gunbuyer this morning. They have the 4.5 inch XDM on sale for 369.00. 14+1 capacity, comes with the hard case, two mags, and a cleaning kit. I just bought the M&P 2.0 so l don't know if l'll go for one. I have a 9mm and a .40 XDM and they are quality firearms. They claim their barrels are match grade and from my experience they perform well.

Just bit the bullet and ordered one of these. I recently bought a M&P 2.0 .45 acp, finally took it out over the weekend. Put fifty rounds of 230 gr. XTP's through it, ran flawlessly. I also had my Springfield XDM .40 cal., it also ran perfect with three different reload types. Learned alot lately on loading 40. S&W, I get alot of brass from a local Police range. I had never been exposed to the bulge Glocks do to .40 brass. Almost all the brass had a very perceptible bulge. Anyway I really like the XDM's. I like the capacity of the Springfield 13+1. May end up selling the Smith, got such a good deal on it who knows I probably will keep it. I hate selling guns

I have a couple XDGs now, 4" 9mm and they have really exceeded my expectations. Which is why I bought a 2nd. The hard case is identical to a Pelican case, if its not made by them. The mags are beautifully finished stainless. And they really do shoot well. Great sights and a pretty good trigger. I wouldn't mind a .45 for IDPA. I work our club events and those guys with the big bullets have a slight advantage scoring on paper.
